Welcome to the New Life Visions Ministry’s homepage.  Here you will be able to browse through the links to the right and be guided through a host of information to get a taste of what I’m looking to do in the area of women’s ministry. 

As you can see throughout the following pages, this ministry is birthed from my own personal experience.  Over the last twenty years I have walked through most of life’s greatest difficulties only by the grace of God to come out whole on the other side. 

God knows the desires of our heart and He also has a perfect plan for our lives.  It’s up to us in our ability to choose the path we walk that either causes us the pain or joy we experience in our lives.  That’s why I wrote The Christmas Wish, though fictional in nature, to let women see from another’s experience that the crisis they’re going through could be purposed for their greater good. 

I believe The Christmas Wish will be a great addition to any crisis pregnancy center’s library because it’s a non-threatening faith filled book that shows in a very relevant way how God can use even the worst of circumstances to bring about the things we want most from this life. 

In addition to this book you will be able to find additional links to my next two books, Shattered Dreams: Turning past hurts into positive new realities and The Other Side of Addiction will be out in 2008 as well as my speaking schedule for the year.  I will be focusing on subjects that deeply affect today’s woman such as codependency, self-esteem, healing from addicted and/or toxic relationships and family of origin issues.

Message to Abortion minded

No matter how bleak it looks right now - never give up - God’s grace is new every morning.  More than anyone, I understand how difficult it is for you when you just find out that you‘re pregnant and maybe even alone now because of it.  As you will see by reading through my Personally Speaking page, abortion is a very real trauma that 43% of all women by the age of 45 have experienced.       

The question you have to ask yourself as you spend time in contemplation over ending your pregnancy is…when I look back and think about this moment, how will my decision have affected my life from here on out.  Some young women after their abortion unknowingly bury their feelings and then later in life emotions such as anger, fear, shame, and guilt surface, reeking havoc in their future relationships. 

That’s why it’s so important for you to see, through this story, how one woman handles the worst experience in her life and how God used it for her good and His glory. 

No matter what your decision is, what matters most is how this abortion will affect you.  Not only can it damage you emotionally (in ways you might not realize for years to come), but physically as well.  Many women can never get pregnant again after having their abortion, some develop breast/ uterine or cervical cancer and on occasion some women have actually lose their lives.

Is it worth the risk?

No and by taking the time to read and understand the message in The Christmas Wish, you will see how God is in control and has your best interest in mind.  Trust me, I know how fearful and hopeless things might seem at the moment, but in time you will be able to better see how this whole situation was meant for a reason…a very good reason. 

My son happens to be one of the success stories, but I am only one of the lucky ones that took the chance to let go and let God.  And trust me…that’s not as easy as it sounds.  Though, personally, I thank God every day of my life for giving me the wisdom to choose life for my son, Nathan.  Now, he is the joy of my life and I am proud to be called his mother.

You too can experience such joy as I do.  In fact, in this life it’s all about having faith, even if it’s the size of a mustard seed, and trusting God enough to let Him have His way in your life…about knowing that no matter what we’ve done that He always has your best interest in mind.

Just remember…God is always for us - never against us so never give up and never give in.  You too can make it through this tough time and come out stronger on the other side!
