About Karen Farrell Jaworski
Karen Farrell-Jaworski is the author of three powerful dramas in contemporary women's fiction. Although each book is unique in the struggle presented, all three books have a common thread throughout...each one reflects deeply personal issues that any woman could have or has faced at some point in time in her life. Karen's main goal in covering such material is to show all women worldwide (by the way the main character in each book handles the situation she faces) that they're not alone in their circumstance. Through reading The Christmas Wish, Love's Last Betrayal or Forever Remember they can be encouraged and/or inspired to push through whatever struggle they face at the moment (no matter how big or small) and press on for a better future.
Karen's educational background is in the field of relationship psychology, holding several certificates in women's counseling and life skills management. She has written a self-help book for women in dysfunctional relationships that will be out in late 2007 as well as one she is currently working on (The Other Side of Addiction) that will follow shortly thereafter.
Prior to becoming a full-time author, Karen worked nationally as a contributing writer/editor for the New York Times newspaper group. At the local division, Karen worked closely with non-profit agencies in their marketing/promotions/advertising efforts, to create stronger public awareness and support of their charities. Shortly after 9/11, Karen left the NYT's Co. and moved to Ft. Worth, TX to spend one year in full-time volunteer service helping single parent women create a better life for themselves and their children.
Karen has four grown children: Christopher - 23, Joshua - 21, Jennifer - 19 and Nathan - almost 18. She currently lives in sunny Sarasota, FL with Joshua and Nathan and her grandson, Ethan Alexander. In her spare time she loves to read, write, travel and explore new locations for her upcoming books as well as exercise, attend church regularly and chase after her best friend and rising star…Ethan Alexander.
